Food is okay, it's a hit or miss. The ribs aren't good, the Philly cheesesteak is alright. Make sure you do not get sat in Kelsey's section, she is dry and quite rude.

I always love coming to Flanigans, the food is good, and usually, no matter how busy, the servers are on point with being polite and attentive. Tonight however, I was pretty disappointed. I had a middle aged woman with a very short hair cut and glasses, and while she wasn't outright rude per se, she was not attentive at all. I had to get up twice to ask the hostess, who's name I saw was Alex, to get us various sauces. She was really sweet and more than happy to help. I already had my sauce, and my fiance had his for about 29 minutes before she even came back to our table and realized j had gotten what we needed myself. As a matter of fact, she walked by us to other tables four times and didn't so much as look in our direction, which is why I asked the hostess. All in all, the food was good (it usually is), but the server was not up to par. I could understand if it was busy, but she couldn't even use that as an excuse.

Chose Flannigan's for a Thursday night post work event meeting spot. Big mistake - huge. First, the neighborhood isn't the best. Next, when I got there and said we'd be about 10 people they weren't overly accommodating, just let me figure it out for myself at the bar. Granted I didn't call ahead but you'd think a restaurant that was not full by any stretch on a weekday night would be thrilled to have a large party. When I went to the mostly empty bar to stake out some seats (not 10 but a small grouping) that's when things got bad. The bartender (Doreen) upon hearing me say I was going to have around a group of 10, got a 'ha! You're screwed' kinda look on her face and threw out some half hearted suggestions on where I might want to seat the group. Again, you'd think a bartender would realize that a large party equaled a large tip and try to help. A few co-workers arrived and we secured our own spot. That's when we really got to see Doreen in (unfriendly) action. She was blatantly rude, impatient and condescending to a co-worker who misunderstood her reply after asking her what kind of beer they had. For most of the night she acted like we were inconveniencing her. She acted like this even after I said ALL orders, drinks & food, were going on 1 check (i.e. automatic gratuity - which turns out they didn't add). We found ourselves trying to be extra nice and kept telling each other 'don't piss off Doreen' - backwards display of customer service behavior. I would not recommend this location due to their mostly apathetic staff and the treatment from one terrible bartender.

I love Flanigan's...not just this location, all of them. I will never forget, the first night after I moved to Fort Lauderdale when my friend and I stumbled onto this place while looking for Tony Roma's. We asked some dude in a limo for directions and he said that we would be much better off going to Flanigan's....he was right. We sat at the bar. I remember they had drink specials and we got a pitcher of really good beer...perfect carbonation and so cold. We were very tired after taking the auto train down from NY. Some meals stick in your head, this was one of them. The ice cold beer, amazing wings, and incredible ribs were the perfect end to a very long day. Now that I don't live in FL anymore, I miss this place.

I used to love their garlic rolls, and they are still good, altho we have a place in LA that makes their equivalent now. The food, which we used to think was good, is really mediocre at best, quite forgettable. The pesto pasta was way too oily. The burger was just ok.

Had the slowest service at our table here tonight. The waiter never even checked in on us for refills or to let us know that our food would be out shortly. Food was okay, but slow service just ruins everything. Plus the manager did a walk around, skipped asking us if everything was ok...conveniently enough. Won't be back!

Everytime i visit Lauderdale i go here. The best burgers and happy hours. I love this place. I recommend any burger and the nachos!

Love their hot wings and fries, service is pretty good most of the time, even if they are busy. Manager often checks on the tables to make sure that everything is as expected. It's a pretty big place, large parking lot, and great deals all week long.

Once you get past the stale, mop water stench that eminates as soon as you walk into the place, the food is decent. Its about what you would expect for somewhere that could come straight out of the movie "Waiting." The BBQ sauce is classic and the food quality isn't bad, especially for the price. You can't beat the lunch specials deal. Plus, you can fill your kitchen cabinet with cups after coming here enough!

Always have great lunch specials during the week!! They make good big hamburgers cooked to what temp you want , and they have great chicken wings and ribs. This is a sturdy chain that has some really good food at decent prices. Managers are always walking around and they are prompt with refills and you get to keep the cup!!

Flanigan's is an excursion to Ireland! During my trip to Florida, I ventured into this location and wow just wow so darn green everywhere! The food was alright, although the burger fell apart on me as I was eating it because it was so darn large and filled with meat/condiments(a good thing!). The fries were a bit undercooked, but in general the atmosphere was laid back and chill. The server was funny and very kind. He was always attentive and ensuring our experience was satisfactory! Next time, I'm going to try different items on the menu, specifically the seafood!

I haven't ate here in so long. My last visit over 4 years ago was not memorable enough for me to go back, but today and at this location I have to say that not all Flannigan's are created equal because this one is superior (or at least on the night that I went). Their BBQ rib eggrolls are always a pleasure. Pretty much a tastier Sloppy Joe shredded pork meat in BBQ sauce fried inside an eggroll shell. I had a wing from a friend's dish and it was standard. I actually don't remember much about it or it standing out but it wasn't bad either. I opted for the "healthier" option and had a chicken burger with sweet potato fries for $1 extra. Burger was good enough and I swear I should have removed the top bun so that I could have had more room for the sweet potato fries because they really hit the spot. Overall, nothing was too greasy and it was satisfactory and I would go back for a late night meal or its bar type atmosphere, and of course for rib rolls!

Pros: Quiet friendly prompt service. I would say that the prices are good for drinks. 1 appetizer, 2 meals , 2 beers come to 30 dollars Cons: Its a little bit dimly lit, a few tvs. I like this flanigans. I have been here many times and dont want t osay anything bad about it. Id eat there again. But Ill say it like this, Its not bad food. And its not the best food. Its a place to eat when u want to go casual and get out the house. Its not a high end bar where u go for the best quality tvs and seating. But it does the job.The service is good. Young waitresses who are ready and quick with their service. And i think fake i.ds work here. My friend showed another persons i.d and it worked. They do their job by checkin i.d and in the end they are there to serve you.. get what imean.. BTW the best days to go are mon tue and wed. Because with a pitcher of beer or soda u get free nacho mondays free onion ring tuesday or free ten wing wendesday. pitchers are 5.99.. and drinks are usually 2.00 a pop.. so u do the math :)

Flanigan's isn't my first choice when I go out to eat or drink, but this place is right next to where my honey works, so it's convenient. This is a typical Flanigan's as the usually reliable chain goes. It serves above-average pub food in an unpretentious, homey atmosphere. The service is fast, the servers friendly, the food and drink in generous portions and tasty. It's good for family dining, or for game watching at the expansive bar. Let me preface this by saying I have worked in the restaurant industry, in a place a LOT like Flanigan's. My parent's raised me and 5 other kids while working in the restaurant business. My mom has been waitressing and tending bar since she was 15, and she is now 60+, and still working. I have had my fare share of moody cooks, bitchy waitstaff, backstabbing busboys, crazy-busy hours, and nasty customers. Our barkeep was terrible! I won't go into names here, but she's a big lady mama, who at first is very professional and efficient. I can tell she's been doing this a long time. Maybe too long. The bar wasn't that busy. It wasn't even half full. Yet, this woman was running back and forth like she was neck deep in weeds. My friend was ready to order at the outset, I told her I need a few minutes. Well, minutes went by, my friend was already done with dinner, and I sat there with my glass empty and still no order taken. Only when my honey showed up to meet us did I get any attention. My honey wanted time to look at the menu. I figured I'd order with him. Again, minutes went by, and we were both ignored. We finally were able to flag her down, and got a nice dose of snarky sarcasm because of it. We were told that she "had already asked us twice but fine, I'll put the order in. Whaddya want?" We are nice people, and we treat service folks with absolute respect. She hadn't been by even once, unless you count giving us the menu. But even if she was right, do you get nasty to customers who are nice to you? We didn't deserve it. Maybe she was having a bad day, or a bad life. Still no excuse. And in this economy, crappy service is going to hurt business, because everyone is hurting, and people who spend money aren't going to waste it on crappy service.

We had to have baby back ribs on a Sunday night for dinner just had to -- you know you have a craving... anyway to many places have closed down or are not open on Sunday so we ended up at Flanigan's. Not worth the gas to get there or the money we spent on ribs. Not what I would consider to be good BBQ.

The staff here can suck sometimes, but the wings were perfect last night and Lauren was the best bartender/server I ever had there. Normal, attractive, attentive, fast, calls you by name. Just a great worker. Thank you Lauren for doing such a good job and being so friendly.

It's a shame that this is a huge cockroach hang-out because I love Flannigan's. My boyfriend and I have been going here for about a year or so, and we went here 2 weeks ago and there was a roach crawling right behind me on the seat! I got up and I told the manager and she took care of the entire bill, which was very courteous. It's too bad because Flannigan's has great food, but that was a complete turn-off. Well, we ended up leaving a $20 tip, regardless. I don't know if we'll be back to this particular location.

Good grilled dolphin salad for lunch, healthy size, goes great with the fat free tomato basil dressing for those watching their figure. Very crowded today @ lunch, predominantly male clientele. The to-go service @ the bar was excellent, the girls were very friendly, I was impressed with their attention and speed. They are a nice and welcome change from the Cuban/Latin places where most of the time the female servers ignore the women and trip over each other to get the male patrons. Is it tips? I don't know or care to understand. My advice to female patrons is to tip well ladies, tip well. And always be courteous.

Okay to go food. Ordered take out from the bartender. They left out a portion of my food for take out. I guess I should have checked the bag better before I left but I would like to give the servers the benefit of the doubt that they will put in the bag what I ORDERED and paid for-it was a kids meal where the left of the meat portion but the veges were there (really??). Very careless of them to not care more about the customers order.
